Mr. Rottschaefer is an Associate at Fairmount Partners. Mr. Rottschaefer has more than ten years of experience assisting clients as an investment banker, strategic consultant and financial analyst. Mr. Rottschaefer has significant experience advising clients on strategic and financial alternatives, sale and acquisition transactions, recap transactions and other financial advisory assignments. His clients have included a wide range of middle-market and family-owned companies in a variety of industries, including industrial manufacturing, distribution, legal services, marketing services and tech-enabled business services. As a result, he has strong relationships throughout each industry and a well established understanding of the particular strengths of and challenges facing each industry.

Prior to joining Fairmount, Mr. Rottschaefer served as an associate at Brown Gibbons Lang & Company, where he focused on middle-market mergers and acquisitions, bankruptcies and restructurings, corporate divestitures, and private placements. Before working at Brown Gibbons Lang, Mr. Rottschaefer was an associate at Harris Williams & Company and a senior consultant at Deloitte Consulting, where he led strategic planning and operational efficiency advisory engagements as well as due diligence assignments. Prior to Deloitte, he worked as a financial analyst for Johnson & Johnson and is a graduate of J&J’s Financial Leadership Development Program.

Mr. Rottschaefer earned his M.B.A. with concentrations in finance, accounting and entrepreneurship from The University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business. He received his B.S., with distinction, in finance and international business and a minor in economics from The Pennsylvania State University. Mr. Rottschaefer is registered with FINRA and is Series 7, 63 and 79-licensed. Mr. Rottschaefer is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth.
