Matthew Herrington is an analyst at Fairmount Partners.

Prior to joining Fairmount full-time in August 2007, Mr. Herrington worked at Fairmount as a summer intern, during which he supported several transactions. Before his internship, Mr. Herrington was a financial marketing assistant at Transit Systems, Inc., where he was responsible for managing the company’s paid search engine optimization account and complete marketing budget.

Mr. Herrington received his B.S. in economics, with concentrations in marketing and finance, from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He spent four years on Penn’s NCAA Division I wrestling team, where he achieved All-American status and ranked second in the country during his senior year. He also was a four-time National Champion in Greco-Roman wrestling.
