Open Positions:
Vice President:
Vice Presidents
work directly with Directors and Managing Directors in all
facets of our business, including marketing, transaction
evaluation and transaction processing, as well as assisting
in developing and improving firm practices and procedures
and managing growth of the firm. Specific responsibilities
include senior management of transactions and oversight of
analysis of financial, market and operating information
relating to public and private companies. In addition, you
will be responsible for guiding analysts and associates and
assisting in training. Vice Presidents are expected to be
able to manage day to day aspects of transactions they
manage, and to work closely with senior bankers in assisting
clients achieve their goals. People in this position are
also expected to be honing their communications and
marketing skills, and to develop business generation skills
needed to move to Director. Fairmount is a young and
aggressive firm ready to provide a career building
experience to a serious and dedicated candidate.
Requirements: At
least four years of experience in investment banking and an
undergraduate degree with emphasis in business or accounting
is preferred. Applicants should possess a desire to be
involved in the investment banking industry, an eagerness to
learn and participate, and a willingness to be flexible in
order to fit with the firm's evolving needs.
Associate:
Associates work directly with all bankers at Fairmount in all
facets of our business, including marketing, transaction
evaluation and transaction processing. Specific responsibilities
will include performing due diligence, financial and valuation
analyses, and participating in meetings with clients. Additional
responsibilities will include preparation of presentation
materials and offering documents. In addition to the requisite
financial and writing skills, candidates must have the presence
and confidence to interact with clients. Other responsibilities
include guiding and training analysts.
Requirements: At least two years of experience in investment
banking and an undergraduate degree with an emphasis in business
or accounting is preferred. Applicants should possess a desire
to be involved in the investment banking industry, an eagerness
to learn and participate, and a willingness to be flexible to
fit with the firm's evolving needs.
Analyst:
Analysts work directly with bankers in all facets of our
business, including marketing, transaction evaluation and
transaction processing. Specific responsibilities include
analysis of financial, market and operating information relating
to public and private companies. In addition, responsibilities
will include preparation of presentation materials and offering
documents. The Analyst will have meaningful contact with our
clients and related parties – for live transaction experience,
we'll stack the Fairmount experience against any other you may
consider. We emphasize a hands-on approach, with no formal
training program, believing the most useful learning experiences
are achieved “on the job”.
