Horvath Communications Completes Capital Raise

W. CONSHOHOCKEN, Penna. – January 3, 2005 – Horvath Communications Towers has successfully completed a partnership deal and capital raise with Tower Ventures. Under the terms of the partnership, Tower Ventures will provide financing to develop approximately 90 towers in several Midwestern and Eastern metropolitan areas. Tower Ventures will also act as operational partner to Horvath in the tower development project. Fairmount Partners advised Horvath Communications in developing its financing plan and introducing the parties and assisted in negotiating and closing the partnership and financing terms for this project.

Horvath Communications, based in South Bend, Indiana, develops and operates telecommunications towers for wireless carriers. The company’s principal, Jackie Horvath, has established Horvath Communications as a leading developer and manager of sites in the greater Indiana and Chicagoland region.

Tower Ventures, based in Memphis, Tennessee, is a tower developer with an outstanding track record of building wireless infrastructure and operating successful tower portfolios. The group, led by managing partner Billy Orgel, has developed 300 towers during its history.
