Clemens Development, LLC Subsidiary Closes Construction Loan

HATFIELD, PA – May 11, 2009 – Funks Road
Properties, LLC, a subsidiary of Clemens Development, LLC, closed on a
$12,800,000 construction loan with Univest National Bank and Trust Co.
and Fulton Bank for the 100,000 square foot expansion of Hatfield
Quality Meats, Inc.’s cold storage warehouse capacity. Clemens
Development, LLC is a real estate subsidiary of The Clemens Family
Corporation which owns Hatfield Quality Meats, Inc., a leading
manufacturer and supplier of fresh and processed quality pork products
such as hams, bacon, sausage, hot dogs and deli meats.
Principals of Fairmount Partners acted as advisors to Clemens Development, LLC in the arrangement of this financing.
